Performance Enhancement of Radial Power Distribution Networks Using Network Reconfiguration and Optimal Planning of Solar Photovoltaic-Based Distributed Generation and Shunt Capacitors

چکیده
In this work, an efficient hybrid optimization approach entitled harmony search and particle artificial bee colony algorithm is proposed to deal with the distribution network reconfiguration solar photovoltaic-based distributed generation shunt capacitor deployment in power networks improve operating performance of networks. The combines exploration exploitation capability both algorithms achieve optimal results. problem formalized which includes locations, open/close state switches as discrete decision variables, optimum point compensation devices continuous variables. An spanning tree utilized track topology network. validity handling planning assured through eight different scenarios at three load levels. efficiency enhancement approaches was validated using 69 node 118 obtained results are compared against similar techniques presented literature.
